Greetings from London,
What a fascinating website, and what a marvellous woman Mildred Kornman is. I have corresponded over the last 30 years with an array of actresses from the silent era and the early 'Talkie' period, but never Mildred Kornman... from reading this it is my loss.
I'm a writer and author, my most recent book 'I Used to be in Pictures: An Untold Story of Hollywood' features many actors and actresses known to Mildred Kornman including Jay R. Smith. I've been asked to pen a sequel, which I am currently researching now and would dearly love to include Mildred
Can I add that as a Consultant for British Heritage fashion brands including Hardy Amies and Norman Hartnell, few models I've seen can ever match the extraordinary beauty of Mildred/Ricki - breath-taking
Yours, Austin

Dear Mildred Kornman/Ricki VanDusen,
Greetings! Let me introduce myself: my name is Jeff Crouse, and I am a Film Studies professor at Nevada State College. One of my specialities is silent movies, and recently I've done extensive interviews with surviving performers Diana Serra Cary (Baby Peggy) and Lassie Lou Ahern. Indeed my interest in this subject is so strong that I've producing the restoration of Ahern's last silent film.
I've discovered that you live in Utah, and indeed I travel to Zion quite often (it's only a three-hour drive from where I live). In reading about your remarkable life and career I'm interested to interview you for publication as well. I realize that you are retired, but if such a conversation likewise interests you, please let me know. I'm quite busy at the moment, yet I would find a way to make time for it. Of course if you have any questions about me, my work, etc., do not in any way hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,
Jeff

Hi,
I'm a fan of silent film, and I was just watching you as a baby in The Nickel Hopper. Were you in Laugh Clown Laugh with Lon Chaney as the young Simonetta? There is no mention of it anywhere, but sure looks like you.
Best, Brad
